Birthday & Easter weekend

On Thursday we headed to the Wayfarer Resort in Vida, OR to celebrate my birthday.  It was beautiful, Michael was sick & Rick was a little sick too so we didn't do as much as we thought we would but still had a great time.  We stayed in a cabin with a creek right behind it.  The view was amazing!  We were right on the McKenzie River.  They had a fishing pond for kids but for some reason Michael didn't want to fish.  His favorite activities were throwing rocks in the river and going to the fish hatchery in Leaburg.  He liked feeding the fish.  It was very relaxing and we will go back.

 

We came back on Saturday and it was a busy day of doing laundry, cleaning house, dyeing easter eggs and making macaroni salad for Easter dinner.  Michael had a great Easter.  The Easter bunny brought him a huge basket & a tent/tunnel, then he got baskets from both my parents, an aunt & uncle and two cousins for a grand total of 6 baskets!  We went to my Aunt & Uncles for Easter and had a great time with lots of yummy food.
