Christmas with Dad

Every year we get together with my Dad before Christmas and exchange gifts.  It's just easier since this time of year is so busy.  I actually remembered my camera & remembered to take pictures-Score!  I tried to take pictures of Michael with his presents but sometimes he put the gift in front of his face.  I didn't get a lot of pictures but here goes.

Had to get a picture of Michael & Isaiah getting along for a minute : )
Michael loves all his new toys.  He's counting down the days until Christmas so he can open more presents!  Hopefully I'll get lots of pictures.

Disneyland

Last month we went to Disneyland!  We've been back for over a month now and I've been dreading updating the blog.  My computer won't let me download my pictures all at once-I have to do it one at a time-and it sucks.  So, I finally decided to just put a few pics of the vacation up.  We had a great time.  I was really nervous about everything really, things like will Michael be good on the plane?, will he like the rides?  What if he hates it?  kept going thru my mind.  I worried for nothing.  Michael was a rockstar on the plane, he wasn't bothered by anything and was very good.  We actually got complimented both ways on what a good boy he was!  He loved the rides at Disney too.  The teacups seemed to be his favorite followed closely by Peter Pan.  We didn't get to see everything and would love to go back someday but we'll see.

October Recap

So it's been a while since I've posted.  Michael started preschool at Fruitland Elementary a couple of weeks ago.  It seems to be going good, it's an adjustment for him because there are a lot more kids in his new school and a lot more going on.  He's doing great though!  We went on his first field trip!  It was to the pumpkin patch, all he really cared about was the slides.  He didn't even pick a pumpkin : (  Michael really wasn't feeling Halloween this year, not only did he not pick a pumpkin, he didn't want to wear his costume.  That's mostly my fault, he wanted to be Spiderman but I waited too long to get the costume and he ended up with a Lightning McQueen costume.  He wouldn't even put it on and he was sick so no trick or treating either!  He had a good time handing out candy to the kids though.

We still bribe Michael with a trip to Chuck E Cheese to get his haircut.  The last time he got it cut we were broke so he had to wait awhile to go.  We went last week around 10 am and we were the only ones there!  It was kind of weird to be the only ones but Michael didn't care as long as he got to play.  He just got another haircut Sunday because today is picture day at school and we're going to Disneyland this Sunday but I don't think he's going to school since he's sick. : (  Hope they have retakes!

I'm putting pictures of the trips to the pumpkin patch and Chuck E Cheese along with some random ones.

More progress

Last Friday we met with Michael's preschool teacher and she recommended that we put him in a regular preschool instead of the specialized preschool he's in now.  We are so excited and proud!  We're waiting to hear when we will have a meeting with the new school but he will be starting very soon.  He's made so much progress and we couldn't love him more or be more proud of him.
